cut out his armor, switch the cut armor to greyscale, make a new blue (of your choice) and overlay, or whatever filter you prefer, to add the blur color to the armor. them save it as .png(make sure that you only see the armor.) now open the original image again, then open the new blue armor and copy and paste it ontop of the original image. then make it a new layer and it should look how oyu want it to.
you could also, after cutting out the armor, mess with the colors levels of the armor and change them to the color blue you want. i am not to use to this way but if oyu are or feel like trying this, it should come out good this way too.

well, how do you cut out you stocks?
if you dont really cut to much, try using the free lasso and cut out sections. by sections i mean cut out around the armor. dont it in small sections so if you mess up you dont loose so much.
there are other ways but if oyu dont have much experiance with those tools or with cutting it might be a big leap. so just try that and see if that helps. if you have some trouble, try looking for some exstraction tuts on GUG or someting.
