Is there a certain format you can save pics, so there is no bakcground?

kinda late but the 2 formats i kno of that you can do this in are .png and .gif and .png has higher quality, but people in e will see a white background, while gif is lower quality, but there is not this white background for ie users.

Delete the bg.If that is the original pic then...You better not do this...This comes handy if You have more layers and Your bg is given by GIMP,e.g. it's black but You need Your picture transparent,then if You delete the bg it'll be opacite...
