hmm. havn't been able to get on my pc at home.... fuckin parents still won't get off my case about getting a job and such.... ..and they keep throwing the "frankie, what are you going to do with your life" line at me constantly... all i want right now is a steady, part-time job...which doesn't seem to come easy..

Fuckin' parents. My parents never ask me what I'm doing since they don't want me to do anything. They don't want me to get a job over the summer or anything, they're against me playing bass and being a musician, they don't like me doing stuff for graphic arts and reading the challenging books that I do.
What are your parents saying about the job? Do they want you to get one or are they trying to stop you from getting one?

eh, fuck ur parents. its a shame they aren't more supportive, cause ur a smart dude with alot of potential. sometimes thats just the way it goes.
no, they want me to get one. they want me to do something besides being on the computer 24/7 [even though they don't let me anyways]...which is understandable. i want to get a job, but its hard as fuck. i've applied at over 7 places...but theres hardly a chance for someone unexperienced, like myself. besides that, i have no idea what to do with myself after high school...and my parents want me to decide before i graduate.

Though I don't have first-hand experience with it, I can imagine how difficult it is to get a job when you're unexperienced. I think staying on the computer all day is actually a good thing, as opposed to what your parents say.
You're a pretty smart guy as well, so hopefully if the world goes to how it should be, we'll both land good jobs sometime or another. But pessimism is still a better option than optimism, in my opinion. Good luck with that job hunt.
